OFC Solver Comparison (2026)

Black and gold playing card aces with poker chips

As of September 2026, no free tool solves every street of Open Face Chinese Poker exactly. Public solvers split into Fantasyland-only tools (ofcsolver.com, Run It Once), a paid full-scope trainer (olegsolvers.com, from $377/30 days), and OFC Oracle, which offers free exact Fantasyland and endgame solving plus a full-street advisor in beta.

Why compare OFC solvers at all

"OFC solver" gets used loosely — some tools solve one static hand (Fantasyland), some solve the last couple of draws exactly, and some are really AI opponents for practice rather than solvers at all. Before picking one, it's worth knowing exactly what each tool covers, what it costs, and what's actually been verified rather than assumed. This page lists only facts we've checked directly — publicly listed pricing, features observed on the live site, or scope stated by the provider — with the date we checked. We maintain OFC Oracle and disclose that up front; the goal here is still a fair comparison, including being explicit about where OFC Oracle is incomplete (the full-street advisor is in beta).

What each option is actually good for

OFC Oracle. If you want exact, no-guesswork answers for Fantasyland placement (including joker hands) and for the final draw of a hand, OFC Oracle's free tools give you that today with no subscription. The full-street advisor extends guidance to earlier streets, but it's beta — built on a trained value model plus search, not full exact enumeration — so treat its earlier-street suggestions as strong study guidance rather than a claim of solved play. See our full-hand OFC solver article for how that works.

olegsolvers.com. This is the most feature-complete paid option we're aware of: it covers Classic, Progressive with jokers, and Ultimate Jokers, with both a Training mode and an Editor for setting up specific spots, plus 3-way hand support. It's a real subscription cost ($377–$1,390 per 30-day period as listed above), and English-only as far as we've observed. If you want the broadest variant coverage today and don't need it for free, this is the established option, built by Oleg Ostroumov.

ofcsolver.com. A focused, single-purpose Fantasyland solver: paste your 13–16 cards, get the optimal top/middle/bottom split. No sign of full-street coverage or joker support at the time of our visit. Good if all you need is Fantasyland placement and you want the simplest possible tool for it.

Run It Once FL Solver. Fantasyland-only, offered as part of a membership. If you're already a Run It Once member for other training content, this may be a convenient bundle; if not, it's solving the same narrow problem as ofcsolver.com and OFC Oracle's free Fantasyland tool.

Mobile trainer apps. These are generally practice tools — you play hands against an AI opponent — rather than solvers that give you exact or near-exact equity for a specific spot. Useful for repetition and getting reps in, but a different category of tool from anything else on this list.

Which should you pick?

  • You only ever need Fantasyland placement, and want it free: OFC Oracle's Fantasyland solver or ofcsolver.com — both are free, single-purpose tools for exactly this.
  • You play Joker Ultimate and want exact Fantasyland placement with jokers, for free: OFC Oracle's Fantasyland solver supports joker hands exactly today. See our Joker OFC article.
  • You want to study the final one or two draws of a hand exactly, for free: OFC Oracle's endgame solver.
  • You want guidance across the whole hand today, and are fine paying a subscription for the most complete coverage available: olegsolvers.com.
  • You want free, whole-hand guidance and are comfortable that the earlier-street tool is still in beta: OFC Oracle's advisor.
  • You mainly want practice reps against an opponent, not exact analysis: a mobile trainer app is the right category of tool, not a solver.

FAQ

What is the best free OFC solver?

For exact Fantasyland placement and exact endgame (final-draw) solving at no cost, OFC Oracle is the option we're aware of; ofcsolver.com also offers a free Fantasyland-only tool. 'Best' depends on which streets you need covered — see the comparison table.

Is there a free solver that covers all four streets, not just Fantasyland?

Not as an exact solver. OFC Oracle's full-street advisor is free but currently in beta, using a trained model rather than exact search for the earlier streets. olegsolvers.com covers more decision points but is a paid product.

How much does olegsolvers.com cost?

As verified directly on the site on 2026-09-01, olegsolvers.com offers a 'Whale Hunter' tier at $1,390 for 30 days (Classic, Progressive with jokers, and Ultimate Jokers, 300 training hands/day, 100 editor calculations/day) and a 'Classic Only' tier at $377 for 30 days (60 training hands/day, 30 editor calculations/day).

Does any solver support the joker (Joker Ultimate) variant popular in Japan?

olegsolvers.com's paid tiers include Progressive (+Jokers) and Ultimate Jokers. OFC Oracle's free Fantasyland solver supports joker hands exactly today; full-street joker support is in development. See our Joker OFC article for details.

Are mobile OFC trainer apps the same as a solver?

Generally no. Most mobile OFC trainer apps play against a heuristic AI opponent for practice rather than computing exact or near-exact equity, which is a different tool for a different purpose than a solver.
